Cookie policy · effective May 2, 2026

Cookies, briefly.

The short version. The Sukima website uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies for security, analytics, and ad measurement. The Sukima iOS app does not use third-party cookies. We don't use cookies for advertising on our own site. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device so it can remember things between visits. Some last only for the current browser session, others last longer. Similar technologies (local storage, beacons, pixels) work in the same general way, and we treat them the same way for the purposes of this policy.

Cookies we use on sukima.ai

Provider Purpose Lifetime
Cloudflare Security, bot detection, performance (the cookies that protect the site from attacks and route traffic efficiently) Session and up to 30 days
Cloudflare Web Analytics Anonymous, privacy-respecting analytics about which pages are popular and how the site performs in real browsers No cookies set; uses a beacon only
Meta (Facebook) Pixel Measuring whether our ads on Meta platforms are working. Sets cookies and stores identifiers. Up to 90 days

We don't sell or share data collected through these cookies for purposes other than what's described above.

What about the app?

The Sukima iOS app contains no third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs. The app uses Apple's standard authentication tokens and a small amount of local storage to keep you signed in and to cache your data offline, but no advertising or behavioral cookies. The same is true of the web app and the Android app.

How to control cookies

Most browsers let you block, delete, or be notified about cookies in settings. The right option for you depends on your browser:

Blocking some cookies (especially Cloudflare's security cookies) may break parts of the site. The site will still work without analytics or ad cookies.

Opting out of Meta tracking

You can manage how Meta uses your activity from other websites in Meta's Off-Facebook Activity settings: facebook.com/off_facebook_activity. Browser-level "Do Not Track" and most ad blockers also block the Meta Pixel.

Changes to this policy

If we add, remove, or change the cookies we use, we'll update this page and bump the effective date at the top.
