About Sukima

A little space,
on purpose.

Sukima (隙間) is the Japanese word for the gap, the pause, the small space in-between. It is also the app that picks the one thing worth doing in your next gap, on iPhone, Android, and web.

The product

What Sukima actually does.

Tell Sukima everything by voice or text. The AI organizes it once. Then, forever after, Sukima picks the one thing worth doing based on your time, your energy, and where you are. When your brain is loud and you have a half hour you don't know what to do with, the answer is one tap away.

No templates. No tags. No inbox zero. Sukima is on iPhone, Android, and the web, free to start, and never trains models on your content.

The name

Why Sukima.

Sukima (隙間) means the small gap between things, the pause, the opening, the in-between. It is the 15 minutes between meetings, the 8 minutes before the kettle finishes, the 30 seconds at a red light. We named the app after these gaps because that is when most of life actually happens, and most apps shout right through them.

We chose a Japanese word because the concept doesn't translate cleanly into English. Pronounced SOO-kee-mah.
